The Connected and Autonomous Vehicles (BOA) Cluster participated in the ITS European Congress 2026, held in Istanbul between April 27–29, 2026, in collaboration with Istanbul Okan University.
Within the scope of the congress, which is one of the leading organizations globally in the field of smart transportation systems, the BOA Cluster took part in its booth numbered E5 and shared its activities, projects, and cooperation opportunities in the field of connected and autonomous mobility with sector stakeholders.
During the contacts made throughout the congress, while meetings were held to develop existing collaborations, new project and joint work opportunities were also discussed extensively. These interactions increased the visibility of the cluster at national and international levels while creating a strong ground for future activities.
As part of the event, academics from Istanbul Okan University Faculty of Engineering also contributed to the technical program.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ömer Cihan Kıvanç took part in the session titled “Energy, Infrastructure & Public Acceptance for Future Mobility Systems”;
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Selim Dündar contributed as a speaker in the session titled “Inclusive, Safe, and Intelligent Urban Mobility through Multimodal and Micromobility Solutions”.
As the BOA Cluster, we would like to thank all our stakeholders who visited our stand and contributed with their valuable views during the congress; we state that we will continue our work with determination by strengthening collaborations in the field of connected and autonomous mobility.
