Functional Safety Awareness Workshop was conducted
The Functional Safety Awareness Training, organized within the scope of the Connected and Autonomous Vehicles Cluster activities, was held on February 3, 2026, at the Prof. Dr. R. Nejat Tuncay Conference Hall of Istanbul Okan University.
Organized in collaboration with HORIBA MIRA, the training addressed fundamental approaches to the concept of functional safety, and a general framework regarding the ISO 26262 standard, which is of critical importance in the automotive sector, was shared with the participants.
The training, attended by approximately 30 people, aimed to increase awareness of functional safety, evaluate current needs in the sector, and convey basic principles for implementation. The training process, which progressed with the active participation of the attendees, was supported by question-and-answer sessions and mutual evaluations.
