On 22 September 2026, the WG2: Factor Conditions, Skilled Workforce Market and Skills Development Working Group meeting was held online. The meeting focused on areas of work aimed at developing the skilled human resources and technical competencies required by the sector.
Led by Working Group Coordinator Prof. Dr. R. Nejat Tuncay, the online meeting brought together BOA members and sector stakeholders.
The meeting addressed current human resource needs in the field of connected and autonomous vehicles, the development of technical competencies, and efforts to equip the workforce with critical skills that will shape the future of the sector. In this context, the OPINA Training Platform, featuring 30 different training programs prepared by expert trainers in their respective fields, was introduced to BOA members. The Training Catalogue, developed to support skills development across the sector, can be accessed via the catalogue link.
Participating members shared their views and recommendations on designing skills development programs, supporting the skilled workforce market, and developing practices that strengthen collaboration between education and industry.
